BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION SERVICES

Our background investigation program reduces the risk of negligent hiring and high turnover by providing information pertinent to hiring decisions. We perform the time-consuming task of gathering background information from various sources in order to expedite the recruitment and hiring efforts of our customers. Our service supplements candidate screening processes and hiring decisions, while helping to guard against fraud, abuse, and other potentially litigious situations. Most background checks are completed and returned to the customer in less than twenty-four hours.

HSC obtains accurate, timely, and pertinent information, including criminal history checks, social security number verifications, motor vehicle department reports, education and license verifications, and credit reports, among others. Motor vehicle reports include such vehicle violations as driving while intoxicated and other drug or alcohol-related incidents, citations for speeding, accidents, failure to appear in court violations, and bench warrants. Our program complies with all applicable federal and state regulations, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Caregiver’s Criminal History Screening Act.
