REGISTRY PROGRAMS
HSC, through the New Mexico Nurse and Allied Health Registry Programs and the New Mexico Locum Tenens Program, provides participating institutions with selected traveling healthcare personnel agencies to provide quality-oriented supplemental staffing in accordance with Joint Commission standards and contractual criteria.
Minimum assignment periods of thirteen (13) weeks for nursing personnel, six (6) weeks for allied health personnel and flexible assignment periods for locum tenens contractors are based on current industry standards. Separate contract periods commence on June 1 according to the two (2) year terms for the specific Registry contract with all interested agencies required to submit a proposal based on HSC’s Request for Proposal requirements for consideration and selection.
