Effective May 1, 2023, The New Mexico Department of Public Safety and The New Mexico Department of Health has transitioned to a new fingerprint-supported background checks provider, IDEMIA, See Below For Details.
In New Mexico, multiple state agencies, such as the Department of Health or Children, Youth and Families Department, require background checks based on fingerprint identification. HSC is a public fingerprinting site with notary services available as well.
**Attention** The New Mexico Department of Public Safety and the New Mexico Department of Health will transition to a new fingerprint processing vendor, IDEMIA, effective May 1, 2023, and terminate their relationship with Gemalto/Thales. HSC is an authorized fingerprinting site in accordance with the New Mexico Department of Public Safety. We provide fingerprinting services for all listed regulated entities. In a pleasant office environment, an applicant can be processed within 10 minutes.

HSC also provides manual fingerprinting for non-mandated employers and volunteer organizations in order to obtain a FBI Criminal Record report containing all arrest charges. Results take approximately 6 weeks to obtain. When combined with our Background Investigation searches, an employer or volunteer organization can feel confident that a complete criminal history has been obtained.
